This I understand, putting an 8 FPS shutter in all cameras cost more money due to the parts and putting larger chips in camera cost more money and putting..... well you get the point. But it wouldn't cost anything to the manufacturer to allow a camera to sync at a higher flash sync. And to put such a Professional feature in what I would consider such an amateur camera was wastful.

I too, about 20 years ago, also use to use On-Camera flashes for my studio needs. but when you start to burn up On-Camera flashed due to shooting 10-12 clients per day at about 50 exposures each, you realize how useful studio strobes can be. So, photographers who use studio strobes do so due to the durablity and versitility of them and not because they don't use them wisely or intelligently.

Yep. And for the light modifier options, and pure watt-second options, that they offer the professional portrait photographer. I don't shoot (posed, lit shots of) people very often, so I don't need a set of Profoto 7b heads - much as I'd like to have them.
