Do I have focusing problems? - 06-21-2005, 04:17 PM

Hey guys, I did that test to see if I have front or back focus problems. The only thing that concerns me is that I didn't have anything to positively test to see if my camera was at a true 45 degree angle. But i took some shots with my Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 and my 50mm 1.8. Here are the shots from both...do I have focusing issues? Is that why i dont get sharp images all the time?

Tamron 28-75

Canon 50mm

These images are a little reduced size. The full size shows better results, but are very big. Thanks for any help.

what aperture was the 50 f1.8 set at?

i know the 50 f1.8 are normally a little soft wide open.. that may be the case here
