And if they follow the previous years, Canon USA rebate will be released on October 16th.
So if you are in the market for some SLR accessories, the wait may be worth it.

Oh sweet. This should bring about a very nice price on the 5D after the double rebate. Right about now, the 40D does not look all that attractive - especially when you can have a 5D for a few hundred ($500) more.....

Do you know if one could use the B&H promotional code on the 580EX and also use the rebate on it to lower the final price?

$1980 | Well first thing to remember is that that Canadian rebate is in Canadian dollars, not US and therefore will probably be a bit higher than the US rebate amounts when it comes out. Of course, it would be nice if the 5D did indeed have a $350 rebate instead of $300 like last time.

Whatever you’re looking for is looking for you, too. The catch, of course, is recognizing it when it pops up in front of you.

It should be the MIR from Canon. I don't think B&H will do the rebate itself. At least for past couple years. But I don't know if they changed this year.

Is there a link to an 'official' US rebate list? I don't see it on the canon site and really don't trust the 'our sources close to canon' lists. Even with the semi-official lists I don't see any mention of double/triple rebates...
