Does anyone here know if the data on a memory card can be corrupted if I interrupt the reading process? I would think not, since nothing is written to the card.
I am asking because I am considering to purchase a digital photo frame for my Dad. He is not really good with electronics and I was thinking about installing an in-line power switch to turn the frame on and off. That way he would not have to mess with any settings or buttons on the actual frame. When you turn it on it automatically starts the slide show, I am just wondering if there could be any damage to the card content if he flips the switch in the middle of the slide show to turn it off.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
