What kind of computer do you use for your photo editing (or just in general)? List the specs if you want. :)

I'll start off:

Dell tower w/ P4 2.4ghz, 512mb RAM, 80gig HD, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128mb video card, Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card, generic DVD-ROM, Plextor DVD+RW and a Dell 17" flat panel monitor, all running WinXP Pro

Toshiba laptop (bought off a friend) w/ P3 Mobile 866mhz, 384mb RAM, 30gig HD, DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive, 16mb dedicated video RAM, not sure of the sound setup but it has a little subwoofer in the front that makes it sound really good compared to other laptops :D , 14.1" screen also running WinXP Pro

My dad and I are planning on building me a new machine in the hopefully not-so-distant future (probably closer to summer) that will probably become my new work/all-purpose machine and my current Dell will become a web server once I get myself a domain name. :)

*Note: Please don't turn this into a Mac vs. PC flame war. Thanks!

iBook 12.1" G3 800MHZ
I need to upgrade, but that will be a little down the road

I also use a homebrew desktop:
AMD 3200, 1024 Ram, Dual DVD-R (8x and 12x), running XP Pro...I can't remember the rest since I built it a little over a year ago (just do upgrades now).
I am looking at the new mini macs as a possible replacement for my desktop, since I already have a good monitor and all...but we shall see

Homebrew 2.8GHz P4, 2Gb RAM, ATI RADEON X800 Pro, with a ViewSonic Pro PF790 19" screen and a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, along with a file server with a few hundred Gb of RAID storage. Mix of linux (fedora core 3) and Win XP.

For more mobile editing, photo storage, viewing, I have a sony Vaio TR2A upgraded to 1Gb of RAM. Has a really great (but small) screen for viewing/ review/ presentations, along with a built in CD burner.

I have a 2 1/2 year old VPR Matrix, P4, 2.4, 1 Gig ram set up on a Raid 0 config. OEM NVida 64mb video card. 17" IBM flatscreen trinatron display calibrated via colorvision spyder.

It has been pretty reliable. One problem booting when a internal backup HD died.

It was a real fast machine in 2002, when I bought it, but by todays standards it is probably a bit behind times, but it works very well. It runs PSCS and other processor intensive editing programs like Bibble, C1 etc just fine, so I'll spend my $$ on camera stuff for a while more.

At home, I use a home built desktop (built a few years back) with:

AMD Athlon XP 2400+
768MB RAM
Several HDDs: 50GB for OS, 80GB for most data, 250GB for video and working photos, 250GB for MP3, external 200GB backup for MP3, external 250GB for general backup
Two DVD burners
ATI Radeon 7000 video card (definitely outdated!)
Scanner
Canon i900d printer
DSL
Compaq TFT8020 monitor

At work and when on the road, I am currently using an HP Compaq nc6000 - may switch to one of their newly announced ones, though.

I'm looking at bringing my video card a bit more into the 21st century (I'm not a game player, so it's never been a priority) and getting a second monitor to use in an extended desktop setup.
