D300 and Windows XP - 05-26-2008, 03:39 PM

Has anyone noticed or have the problem of XP not showing a thumbnail view of .NEF D300 files. I have PowerToys RAW Viewer and now that I have a D300 I can't get a thumbnail of my image files. I can see the images in Adobe Bridge CS3. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the input. I already have the RAW Viewer Version 1 Build 50. I am not really sure what else to look at.

I have Photoshop CS3 and can see images just fine. I am just not able to see thumbnails when I access the individual folders that contain the images in Windows Folder View.

I have the same problem, but it's with Vista Ultimate. According to Microsoft they do not have a RAW viewer with Vista.

So I am guessing we will have to wait a bit for Microsoft to catch up them. It's fine then, I can still use Bridge. Thanks all!

I have done a little research on Nikon's website and found some Thumbnail Viewer updates; however, the computer system at work will not allow me to open .zip files. I will see what happens when I get home.

After having been out of town for a week, I came home to some Windows XP updates and now I get thumbnails in folder view. I guess they were working on the problem.
