Gray market equipment
This is a discussion on Gray market equipment within the Equipment Talk forums, part of the Photography Information category; When buying used equipment (bodies, lenses), is there a way to tell if it is gray market or US?? Thanks...

Unless I'm misinformed, they are identical except for the importation channel so unless it came with some documentation from the original purchaser there should be no way to tell them apart. --------------------------- Support the entire Constitution, not just the parts you like. www.ebookgab.com |

it depends on what you're looking at. anything specific? my d300's box has a U code on it, for US I believe (unless it's the kosher "U" for Union of Orthodox Hebrews) |
