Seriously,
I think pretty much many of us will be checking critical focus on every darn shot as long as we own the body. I haven't had too many issues since the latest firmware, but every time I get a soft image, I start questioning things... I really can't help myself.
Especially, when I compare 5D images against it. With the 5D very light AA filter, images are much sharper straight from camera. I realize that is due to the AA filter mainly and something that is overcome with minor sharpening on the MKIII files. I am just glad I no longer have the drastic Front Focus issues any more.
I just went out and shot a few based on this post. Honestly, I cannot tell much of a difference. I'll need to test more. |
