Thanks zeroendless, installed and ready to go.

KD, that is the page I get a "can't access" error. I don't know if it in a setting I have for security or a firewall, or whatever.

Interesting. I've no idea why it gives you a problem and am glad to see the other link worked for you.
Here's a link directly to the Canon USA EOS (SLR) Camera Systems website.

If that site doesn't come in then I'd have to agree with you, something on your system is most likely causing the problem.

The IP address to www.usa.canon.com is 146.184.152.44. That should help you check your firewall settings. Try pinging the IP address. If you can ping the IP address something else is going on.
