Cool. I tried opening the CR2 files w/CS2, and it failed also. Where did you locate the converter? My hack was on a Canon S3.

The Beta release of this converter worked... a few others I tried didn't.

I installed and converted the CR2 files, and was able to open the DGN files it created, but I wasn't very impressed in the quality. They seemed more grainy than the JPG files did. Could be I just have no experience with raw, and I'm not doing something right. Does anyone want to play with the output files and see what they can get out of them?

Mine were grainy too, but I chalked that up to it being a point and shoot. The sensor is so small, it's going to be tons grainier than a DSLR....
