Thumbs up Sigma 150-500 f5-6.3 APO DG OS - 06-11-2008, 05:29 PM

Mine came in today

Took this 30 feet away / 500mm / F8 / ISO 100 / ss- 1/125 / Tripod / cable release/ 100% crop.

I am not sure if I did the above crop right, but it sure looks good to me. took the picture zoomed in PS CS3 till it said 100% and then did a crop at 800x600.

Looks like a keeper to me!!! I know I will be happy.

Without the crop.

Here are some more. wide open and F8.. Approx 7 feet, 15 feet and 30 feet. Large Fine straight out of the camera (not resized at all)...

I've been thinking of this lens also. Either the 150-500 or the Bigma. Either way, it will be a few months before the funds are available. Your shots look good though.

700mm - 100% crop

Is that right for a crop??? zoom 100% in CS3 and then do a crop like 800x600? Thanks

Hi John,

That's correct, they are 100% crop shot and look good.
