1Ds Mark III Green Dot? - 06-13-2008, 02:47 AM

With all of the talk of the 1D Mark III "Blue dot," I noticed a Green Dot next to the UPC on the 1Ds Box. Anyone know what this symbolizes?

It means you need to put the camera back in its box and ship it directly to me. Wait! Don't ask any questions (other than my address). You might not want to handle the camera for long periods of time because it may cause you to take too many photos.

Oh, and pack lots of 8 GB memory cards along with it. That thing takes some whopper photos!

LOL 1st-no dot, then blue dot, then yellow dot, soon to come, polka dot. The Mk III may have changed the landscape of camera boxes. LOL

I believe that is an indicator for bodies with the latest firmware upgrade already installed. Not 100% on that though...
