I guess I'd have to get a new SUV to carry all that large format stuff in ?

I'm thinking a Hummer would work... maybe I can buy David's when he upgrades ??

I've resolved myself to the fact that there is no cure and it's a burden I will have to carry with me throughout life. Oh well!

Tom, I hear gas will be going to $10/gallon soon so my Hummer will become a paperweight. I did read somewhere that you can convert a H1 diesel engine into a hybrid that will give you 60 mpg. If that's the case I'll have to buy a H1 next.

David, buy a conversion kit and start mixing your own biodesiel using used oil from McDonalds and donut shops that way the H1 could smell of french fried donuts.

Tom, are you going to use black powder as flash powder?

I feel all this pain, Diesel has risen steady since I did my part for the environment and bought a Libby in late '05. So much for petrol by-product
waste being re-used.
I must ask have any of you ever been behind one of the new large roach coaches w/onboard deep fat fry? A trip across the Mountain creek bridge almost was my early ending due to the smell of the truck in front of me.
My point here is if people distill used ff oil then the smell will make so many sick that they will quit eating fries and fast food might take such a whuppin as to give up deep fat and then there goes the distillation yuk yuk.
Finally is is reported you can buy fresh peanut oil at Sams, distill it yourself and come out about half of what you pay at pump. If I could buy the still I would so be there.

Captain Tom,

There are lots of 8x10 cameras for sale as I type. Some with 5x7 & 4x5 backs too. Lenses of all shapes, sizes and flavors. Holders galore.

The For Sale area of the Large Format Photography Forum can fix you right up.

Does that make me an enabler?
