In the last 2 weeks I have purchased a 12-24 f/2.8, a 24-70 f/2.8 and a 85mm f/1.8.

Do you think I need counseling?

I will be selling one of my D300 bodies and grip to replinishe the bank account a little, but I think I may have a problem. Is there a 12 step program for it?

lol

the 12 steps for AA works for all aspects of problems... lol... just change the alcohol to Camera equip!!

here is the list for you in case...

The 12 Steps

* Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over our addiction - that our lives had become unmanageable
* Step 2 - Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity
* Step 3 - Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of Higher power as we understood Higher power
* Step 4 - Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves
* Step 5 - Admitted to Higher poweer, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs
* Step 6 - Were entirely ready to have higher power remove all these defects of character
* Step 7 - Humbly asked higher power to remove our shortcomings
* Step 8 - Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all
* Step 9 - Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others
* Step 10 - Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it
* Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with higher power as we understood higher power, praying only for knowledge of higher power's will for us and the power to carry that out
* Step 12 - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs

No, develop a Leica or dMF jones then you may have some issues.

Those were the first two lenses I got, both of which were purchased at the same time as the camera body. Good choices.

See what happens when you have too many things to purchase. Just sell it all and get an Olympus.

Or, you could just have your spouse slap you back to your senses whenever you even mention buying something new!!

Disclaimer: do not attempt this method if your spouse is also a photographer as experience shows this approach to be ineffective and may even lead to exaggerated symptons!!!

Buy a Polaroid and then find out you can't get the film any more.

It's actually multiple film holders, and a pack to carry them all in. And then there's the sheet film itself, and bigger developing tanks, and larger developing trays, and chemicals, and toners, and and and you get the idea, there's always something to spend money on
