Here are the revised Adorama deals from Friday:

SanDisk 4GB Extreme III SDHC Memory Card - $14.95 shipped after $20 MIR
SanDisk 8GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card - $34.95 plus shipping after $40 MIR

The SanDisk 16GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card is $95.95 plus shipping after $90 MIR at B&H
The Sandisk rebates are in the form of Visa gift card type things, and I believe it took close to two months to receive mine last time. But I did receive it.

I bought some SanDisk CF cards from BuyDig.com earlier this summer, and it worked out great.

I bought three 4GB Extreme IV UDMA cards and got $160 back on a total price paid of $246, amounting to an eventual 65% discount. That size worked for me in this case, and they also have good deals on 8GB IV and 16GB III cards. Like Shawn, my Visa rebate card took about eight weeks to arrive, but I did get it. Really nice deal in the end.

They're Visa debit cards that you can use anywhere that Visa is accepted.

Yeah, I meant they're like gift cards in that you have a balance on them to spend (and that you don't actually receive a check). BTW, I noticed that Adorama actually has the 16GB Extreme III for even less:

http://www.adorama.com/IDSCFE316G30.html

$79.95 after rebate. That's $20 less than I paid for the one I'm using right now, so I succumbed and bought another. Note that Adorama confusingly lists both the recently discontinued Sandisk Extreme III model numbers and the new ones. Apparently the new ones can read/write at 30MB/s instead of 20MB/s. And strangely enough, the new ones cost less. *shrug*

www.buydig.com has some rebates:

"Receive a $20 prepaid Visa Card by mail when purchasing this Card through 9/28/08. Stock up and save more - Get a $50 Visa card when purchasing 2 or a $80 Visa card when purchasing 3. Claims must be postmarked by 10/20/08; see rebate form for details.
