Dont get my opinion construed with me not like the IS, i just couldnt justify spending the extra $700 for the IS. I dont need it.

And you will LOVE it. It is a kick ass (pardon my language) lens.

@ Swanny - I know! I chose 2 day shipping but thats not even fast enough. haha

@ Shift - No prob man. I almost went with the Non-IS myself. Im sure its also an awesome lens. I just thought ahead about the low light situations I'll be shooting in and decided to play it safe.... despite the blood curdling scream my wallet let out this morning.

Ya im lucky, when im shooting cars or something in the dark, I always get to use a tripod so I dont have much of an issue.

I figure down the line ill sell it and get an IS if I really need it.
