Considering the point of the video was not to entertain the masses but to show the quality of the 5D mkII video which Bryant has done and said that he was putting the video out there for that reason.

and i get that. i was noting the irony that he edited the video ..blacked out the scene and wrote "Boring U-turn" while waiting on the light ..when in fact the whole thing was boring.

It's funny how I posted this exact same video on a sportbike forum and got tons of replies saying how awesome it is...

If your not interested in something and hard to see it as interesting... You didn't have to watch the video... I didn't force you.

If I were you, I would just ignore this thread.

Now that you know how well it works, figure out how to mount it somewhere else and show us the results.

Bryant - what about mounting it where it shoots what is behind you? (backwards)

Or focusing on the front wheel with the road ahead sorta in view (but out of focus)- I've seen videos of cars driving, static position on one of the wheels and actually was pretty neat. A video of a Porsche running through the streets of Prague at 3am comes to mind. Watching how the break discs heat up and actually glow is freaking cool. Maybe something along the same lines for the bike? Is there a frame point that you can clamp to that won't get in the way of riding?

Is there a way to cover the microphone? I don't dig the wind noise, which somewhat covered the engine noise when going really fast.

You can turn it off. There is a setting.

I agree with everyone else. Do something where we can see more. Maybe looking to the side in traffic.

The subject of the video is the sportbike... This is one clip of many that I am grabbing for a short. I appreciate the crit, but this is really just to show what the 5d is capable of.

If I could put a big dSLR anywhere on a motorcycle I would, but it is not that easy.
