Can you use a Sunpak 120J with the A700? I'm talking about using the Sunpak TTL module on the hot shoe, not firing it with a pc cord. I have both and would love to consumate this marriage but......  |

Actually it can't be safely used. The rumor is the voltage differences between the camera and the sunpaks module create an unsafe relationship. It's believed that this mismatch harms the cameras computer. You Can still use the 120J, but only with the unit on auto or manual(not TTL) and fire it with a regular synch cord. This is what I'm planning to do. |
