5D2 has it....in live view...

Wasn't known by me until now. Thanks to all who posted about it.

The 5DMkII seems to have more than it's share of problems.

It's making me question about skipping it and going for a clean 1DsMkIII and forgo the higher ISO's.

Live view also has a problem with vignetting on the 5DMkII.

Digiloyd's report on it.

I decided to keep shooting with the original 5D and add some much needed lighting gear to my setup. A new body perhaps later this year. We'll see.

Live view also has a problem with vignetting on the 5DMkII.

Digiloyd's report on it.
Here is my report on it after using it since Dec 3rd and not just reading articles.

Vignetting is the same in live view as it is in normal view on my body.
Granted - I don't use 3rd party lenses with adapters and such.. Only Canons... I am sure there may be issues with some body/lens combination's when using various lenses and adapters...chipped, etc...

I personally have not seen any difference. Granted, I don't use Live View all that much... My point was Live View has face detection...not that it's useful really. LOL
