...And I just can't hide it...!
I just picked up my very first " L". This has been so long in the waiting and wishing, I am SO happy!!!
It's a 20-35 F/2.8 L. I know it's an older one, but I did a lot of research. I found that while old, and no USM or FTM, it is still regarded as some of the best IQ from any of the " L"s. That sold me...
Sorry for the crappy pic. I had to have one for the post, so it was taken in horrible light with my laptop webcam lol... | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Congrats... I don't know what an 'L' is... I'm guessing it's something to do with your lens.. *grin*...

Enjoy! I've got two L lenses I really like, a 17-40 f/4 and 70-200 f/2.8. Just don't forget that there are killer sharp lenses that don't have the red ring that shouldn't be ignored: among them the 85 f/1.8 and 100 f/2.8 macro ... I've got both of those, too, and love them as much as the L's.

You made the right decision... I got my first L series back in 2001 or 2002, and have counted on them ever since. They always deliver!

These suckers will set you back a long way. | I really wish being poor and owning L's were an option, but with a family to look after (and barely enough moola), it took me over two years to get my first one, and I had to sell my ipod and 28-135mm IS to do it lol... I do have the bug though, no doubt lol! Quote:

Kevin | That's an odd (and heavy) bunch of lenses to carry around. I have several spare lenses in the storage closet, but I carry my 16-35mm 2.8L, 50mm 1.8, 15mm 2.8, and 70-200mm 2.8L with me, no other lenses. Oh, and a lensbaby and an 8mm macro spacer. Once you add in my two bodies and all the misc stuff, my bag is heavy, so I can't imagine you lugging around ALL that stuff in your bag... | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
