Any good macro lens would work well. I'd suggest a 60mm for starters. As with all product photography, a T/S lens would be helpful sometimes, but not required. The lighting setup is far more important than the choice of lens, in my opinion.

A Pinhole. There are no best lenses for anything. Only lenses which let you capture the image as you imagine itl.

The easiest way is to mount the actual lens to your camera and find a mirror for a little lens self-portrait!
