I need help finding issue or solution? - 05-06-2009, 08:19 AM

I have camera that i think is not working properly or it might just be me.

But it seems that on every roll there is teo or three images that end up with a red glare wierd usually on the left side of the image. It is not every single image on that roll that comes out taht way but usually there is two or three.

I haven't used this camera ina while so i dont have an example to post at this moment.

But i just didnt know if it is the camera or is it possibly something to do with the developing of the film...

I was thinking maybe it has to do with my shutter ...

I dont know if anyone has ever seen this or has had issues with something similar to this..

But if you have any info please share..

Sounds like some light is getting to the film that isnt suppose to. Is it ranom throught the roll? Who develops it for you?

Yep. You have a light leak somewhere. Same question. Are they spread throughout the roll, or in a particular area of the film?

I agree, is it at the beginning of the roll or at the end? I used to have a similar problem also when I didn't load the film correctly and it got creased....

It's likely that the back of the camera was opened slightly while there was film loaded.. this light leak will ruin whatever portions of the roll that "saw" the light.

I posted an example of the issues in different thread, I think it had to do with some film left out in the sun.. but i am going to be making a few more test rolls and see if it continues...
