Now who'd have guessed... Japan is their big market !!!!

You'd think they might be able to come up with a cheaper Leica M8.3 or a Leica CM digital and get more people here on this side of the pond to buy some of their camera's. Then maybe they'd be able to make/sell more than 150 M's in a month

Japan is a huge market. I just found out that an uncle had a collection of Leicas before emigrating. His collection of (2)M4's and 3(!) M7's translated into travel into the US and a nice house.

He's looking for a "deal" on an M8 now... in the mean time he's sticking to to a Bessa.
