Family friendly entertainment, extreme sporting activities, the Sahawe Indian Dancers, the Barnie McBee North Central Texas Regional State Championship BBQ Cook-Off, an antique tractor and engine show, classic car show, an art contest, photography contest, well known artist Kenneth Wyatt paintings, Elvis impersonator, the Brazos Bottom Cowographers, the Dino Mireles' Band, and Comanche’s own Nashville star Deryl Dodd are just a few reasons to attend the 26th annual Comanche County Pow-Wow.
And over 200 vendor booths too!
Last year we had almost 10,000 people take part in one of the most talked about weekends in Comanche County. You’ll want to make plans to invite your whole family down for a fun filled event that you won’t soon forget. Parking is free and free shuttle transportation is available. Admission is only $2.00 for 6 years and up.
Saturday’s events are from 10am to 6pm. Sunday the park is open from 10am to 4pm. The Pow-Wow Family Picnic in the Park will be 1-4pm on Sunday. The picnic will feature Walt Wilkins, Matt Martindale Band, Tommy Alverson, the Brazos Bottom Cowographers and Comanche's own Amos Staggs!"
