Held each year in Medina, the "Apple Capitol of Texas," the Texas International Apple Festival is eight days packed with music, apples, games, cooking demonstrations, apple pie, apple cider and much, much more. This year's Apple Festival begins with the Apple Pageant and Dance on Friday, July 22 and ends on Sunday, July 30. |

Janice... you might want to check your source on this information. The 'Apple Festival' is no longer held. Also, July 22 is a Tuesday; not Friday and July 30 is a Wednesday; not Sunday in 2008. The did hold a smaller event, for only 2 days (July 18 and 19) at the Love Creek Orchard, called "Love Creek Orchards Great Hill Country Apple Picking Fest" --------------------------- -Al ~ Retired from real work ~ D200 & D70 w/ Nikkor 18-70, 70-300, SB800 SpeedLight, Kenko 2X TeleplusPro 300 |
