Way Out Wineries Tailgate Road Trip - September 26th, 27th & 28th.
Celebrate Fall, Football and Food with the Way Out Wineries on the first annual Tailgate Road Trip. Eight Central Texas wineries will be tailgating on the weekend of September 26th thru 28th with football fare paired with Way Out Wine. No, it’s not just beer and football anymore!

Wear your school colors, your team’s jersey or your old cheerleader uniform to get in the Tailgate spirit. Each winery will be serving up a selected wine paired with football food. From old favorites like barbecue wings to some innovative new recipes, you’ll have a unique wine and food pairing as you tailgate in WOW style.

Your $15 ticket is good all weekend for complimentary wine tasting and the tailgate food at all eight wineries. For a map of the wineries and to purchase tickets online go to www.wayoutwineries.org . Tailgate Road Trip hours are Friday and Saturday 10 am to 6 PM, Sunday noon to 5 PM.

The Way Out Wineries are located from just south of the Metroplex to just north of the Austin area. They are all located in or near small, quaint Texas towns and are all family owned and operated.

Participating wineries are Barking Rocks Winery at Granbury, Bluff Dale Vineyards at Bluff Dale, Brennan Vineyards at Comanche, Rising Star Vineyards at Rising Star, Alamosa Wine Cellars at Bend, Pillar Bluff Vineyards at Lampasas, Texas Legato Vineyards at Lampasas and Red Caboose Winery at Meridian.
