It's Rodeo Time!
Folks, its Rodeo time again in the XIT city and there will be lots going on at this year's PRCA sanctioned show. The rodeo has started to gain momentum over the last four to five years, and this year, we will be opening more entry and exit gates to allow for easier and quicker access to the arena. We are also trying to make tickets more accessible by having a ticket hut and two or three roaming salesman during the feeds. Tickets can also be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce and of course, at the arena gates during performances.

For the hardcore fans, we will have contestants roping in the slack on Wednesday night the 6th at 7:00 p.m. and more slack on Saturday Morning the 9th at 8:00 a.m. There is no charge for those wanting to come in and watch Wednesday and only $ 5.00 for the Saturday morning slack performance. Marquee performances begin at 7:00 p.m. every night from Thursday through Saturday night. Adults are $ 10.00 and kids twelve and under are $ 5.00...kids three and under are free.

This year we are again having an open, amateur Barrel Race that will feature our local talent. Also, we are bringing back the Business Man's Wild Cow Milking, that will surely put a smile on everyone's face as they watch their friends and neighbors trying to squeeze a few drops of milk from an uncooperative cow.
