Mike - this stuff looks awesome! Will it also include the steps that you used for processing the skin in these images?

Minus just a few small details you see EVERYTHING as I process the images from the beginning to the finished images you see above. Just as the .mov links listed above show the video capture with audio, the Processing DVD shows over 2 hours of my processing these images.

NO SECRETS
NOTHING HIDDEN

This is HOW I PROCESS TriCoast images. I am a strong believer in sharing and giving to others who share this amazing passion is truly the best way to grow and learn as a photographer and as a person.

The Covered in Color - A Bridal Session DVD is a little more in the traditional sense of a DVD. You have a menu of the scenes and each one has video as Cody and I captured the session with us overdubbing many of the scenes explaining what we were thinking, how we were lighting the scene and why were lit it that way.

The Actions are a set developed for my personally over the years which are more to my style of processing than anything else. Actions are tricky, since these have been developed by me I know how to use them completely when and on what images. It will take a short period of time to get the full effect out of them, especially if you do not understand layermasks which is what I use alot. Once you do get the hang of how I process they will I feel give you a complete different outlook on processing and open up doors which had not been open before since your thinking in a different processing method.

Eitherway thanks for the post I hope this answered your questions if not please let me know.

Here is one quote from a member here on TPF on just one of the Finding Color Videos after watching it:

"WOW!!! I just learned more in 13 minutes than I have learned in the last 8 years. I have actually watched one video probably 6 times now. The first time I just sat and watched, the 2nd I wrote down the steps you took, the third time I watched it again after really concentrating on the steps the 2nd time...the other 3 times I've watched it just cause I enjoyed watching it and each time it reinforces something different and I remember something else when playing with my images."

Dang dang dang dang dang....

Now, here's yet ANOTHER thing that I need to spend $300 on. I was actually starting to save up for one of the Illuminations workshops, but this might fit the bill better.

Mark until I get the the site up and running (which should be in a week or so) I am doing everything directly with me and through paypal.

If you are interested in any of the products just send a paypal payment to office@tricoastphoto.com. Make sure you have a good mailing address in your PayPal account and I will get it out to you ASAP

If you do not want to go with the PayPal route you can call Cody, the other half of TriCoast at 979-417-7175 with your Credit Card information (Mastercard or Visa) and we can process your order that way.

Once the site is up and running it will much more online ordering which should be easier for most people.

Hope that helps and Debbi your products are in the mail as of today!

OK. I received this set yesterday and spent the entire day playing. This particular DVD and the actions ROCK! I haven't watched the Bridal DVD yet, but I will soon. The actions are very easy to use. For you other landscape photogs out there, this is also a must have. Just remove the gaussian blur from the action and whalah (sp?). I think the most useful part of the Processing DVD is watching and developing a workflow, if that is something you need (I definitely do). A+++++++ and worth the $$.

Debbi I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY it is working for you! I gave everything I do to TriCoast's images on this DVD NO SECRETS so I wanted to make sure it was easy to understand and work with so it makes me happy to hear it is for you!

Now how about posting some of your images you worked with while watching the DVD :)

Mike, per your request - here are a couple of images with their original unprocessed copy. Both are using the same action - Orange Glow. Whatta ya think? I spent about 2 minutes per image.

Debbi, that last one is a great example of how NOT to lock yourself into a "people" photography only thing. That is a wonderful application and gives it that sunset/sunrise look!

Nice...

Thanks, Jesus. Actually, I am a landscape photog at heart. It's the people photography that's new - trying to get out of my box.
