Photo Spots in San Marcos

I've searched the forum without much luck, so I'm looking for help! I'm going to be in San Marcos this weekend at Harris Hill Raceway. I'm looking for some ideas of interesting things to shoot. I haven't been to Aquarena Springs since it was turned into a nature center, so I plan on going by there, but what else is there? I haven't been to SM in years...

If you're into PJ stuff, you cold stroll down the banks of the river and document the staggering amounts of trash left behind by toobers.

There is a nice little park at the corner of Hopkins St. and CM Allen Parkway.
There are restored buildings and an old wooden bridge. It is next to a park with a stream running through.
I shot there last spring...pleasant shoot.

Thanks, David and Pat. As it turns out, we were way too busy racing and then way too tired from racing to do much else but eat and sleep. I did take a ton of racing shots, so I'll post those to my SmugMug this afternoon.

I appreciate the input. Going to Harris Hill is definitely something I'll be doing again soon, so I'll be sure to find that park next time. Maybe even some trash... ;-)
