There are at least 300 white pelicans roosting on the shore line of Lake Livingston. They are at Marina Villiage in Westwood Shores no more than 10 to 15 feet from the end of a local road. Marina Villiage is just of Hwy 356 just South of Trinity, TX. I saw them today Sept 10 at 3:00. They will probably be there for a number of days. Pelicans are interesting birds and sport an 8 foot wingspan. I have many photos of them and they make interesting photo subjects. Richard DeYoung 936 594 1714 |
