I don't get out very much to take photos just for myself.
Spent a restful week in Santa Fe, NM recently and other than taking architectural shots of the house(s) we were staying in, I was able to just hang out with my camera and try some different things.

1- optical illusion ?
2- Microsoft Logo ?
3- Work ? (it's tough, but somebody has to do it)

1- optical illusion ? Yes
2- Microsoft Logo ? Somewhat
3- Work ? (it's tough, but somebody has to do it) I would think pleasure.

Looks like a cool place to hang for a few days.

What lens was used on the wide room shot?

Thanks for the ultimate compliment. That's the idea of stitching, and sometimes it goes better than others.

quick tips re: stitching

1- tripod
2- everything manual on camera ,, focus, exposure, white balance
3- hold your breath.

I'm still looking for any clues.....can't find 'em.

Using this technique?

Stitching Photos Together in Photoshop

I’ve had a great time today stitching panoramas together in Photoshop. The functionality can be found under file > Automate > Photomerge and you load a whole bunch of separate images together and out pops the composite or panorama. It works flawlessly (so far) and seems much better than ptGui; software I tried out for doing similar composites.
