lol, but nice shot - where were you shooting from? My sister is going to a party there Sat. night (her Lamar reunion). We haven't been inside yet - will see it when U2 comes to town in October!!!!

Thanks.....It was taken from the upper terrace at the Ranger's Ballpark.....handheld. Dang, a Lamar High School Reunion! I went to Arlington High School and certainly can't imagine us finding a way in there financially. Then again, back in the late 70s, we always considered them Lamar folks a little more uppitity than us Colts.

lol - can't speak for the rivalry - my parents moved to Arlington after I was already in college so I have no loyalty to the Vikings (I think that's right - I can't even swear to that). My sister graduated from Lamar in 79 and I probably knew a few people from late 70's AHS as well (I remember a few people from there @ Trinity U). My sister lives in Connecticut now - this is the first time she's come back from a reunion and she thought the tickets were a tad pricey ...I suspect the location is why.

I couldn't believe the punter would hit (essentially) the ceiling. Who thought about that. Seems Jerry and crew should have smacked their heads and then had a V8.

Doesn't that seem a little ridiculous to spend that money and have that kind of a problem on day 1?

I do think that I read somewhere, that the display is on adjustable cables, and that they were adjusting it for the next event.

And yet there is a flag pole and a hill to contend with at minute maid park that is accepted without this much hub-bub....... Well not that I remember it garnering this much ire from the media. But I could be wrong....

Well the screen is hung above the minimum required by the NFL which is 85ft. So there really isn't a problem except for a rookie punter trying to make a name for himself. Who the heck would do that and make his punt team run full out down field just to have to do it all over againg 2 minutes later, answer a rookie without a clue.
