Published Cover Photos

I have 7 out of 16 shots on the cover of a new Texas travel book that is coming out in late October or early November. I also have a lot of photos inside the book.

A lot of the photos in the book were also provided by the State of Texas, CVBs, and locations.

I did all the photo conversions for originals to the B&W photos used inside the book and worked with the author and publisher on captions.

No it is being published by Atriad Press and will be sold in bookstores. You should also be able to buy the book directly from Atriad. I checked Atriad's website (www.atriadpress.com/) today and they haven't posted the book there yet.

Yep! that was the biggest advantage... sleeping with the author!

Although she didn't choose which shots to appear on the cover. The publisher has total control over the cover art. Also, the title changed several times over the last several months. The author also has choosen a lot of photos in the book that weren't mine.... so guess I don't have as much of an advantage as I thought (or maybe the other photos were better than mine).
