ever since i began photographing i have always like to try the harder shots, and yes i was wanting to see how i could shoot with just the moonlight.

Okay, so you were trying to capture the moonlight on the water at Lake Conroe. Did you try shooting at different exposure times? Your exif shows only 1/2 second at ISO 3200, which didn't let much light in. Also, did you use noise reduction in camera? If you didn't it might help next time. If you did then you might consider NR using software.

Did you use a tripod? If not, I would suggest trying one next time. Lower you ISO to as low as your camera can natively go and lengthen the exposure time. I think that the shot had some potential.
