I took this shortly after receiving my Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens last Christmas.. my cat, Tequila (I'm the only one in the house she really likes).. and Christmas tree lights in the background. Shot very close up at f/1.8 just to see what it could do... lovely round lights, eh? :)

Hey, I have tons of blurry pics, but I usually don't consider it a good thing. That first one is awesome. On the second, I would prefer just an inch or so more dof.
