Fun photos from a trip to Albuquerque - 01-04-2010, 11:40 PM

Left Houston on Thursday. Arrived in Albuquerque on Friday. My friend, Lacy, had never seen "snow" before (large quantities, not the piddly Houston stuff).

These are also my first shots with the 5D!

Well if nothing else, you make her laugh.

Get closer to your subject with that camera and lens.

Or, get closer to the subject without the camera and lens!

Nice shots, she has gorgeous eyes! It's been a long time since I was in Albuquerque and I had no idea they get that much snow there. I don't know why I'm surprised, I was stationed in El Paso for 3 years so I'm familiar with the Chihuahuan Desert. I believe it was summer when I was in Albuquerque last, but I have been through 4 Corners and Raton Pass in early Fall, temperatures still pretty mild, but cold in the mornings. I bet that was a fun trip, I love that part of the world!
