Reverse Processing? - 03-23-2010, 05:23 PM

I decided to reverse process an image. We see plenty of examples of the repairing and restoration of old and damaged prints, but rarely, if ever, do you see the antiquing of images to make them look old...besides who would want to and what fun is there in that. Well, I did it anyway.

Those Speedgraphics took good sharp images. I really like the effect here.

Go to shorpy.com. You'd be surprised what you can get out of a turn of the century dry plate glass negative. The 4X5 Kodachromes from the forties are often amazing. Sure there are some technically poor stuff there, but if look around long enough, you might change your mind about technology as far back as 1900.

I like the OP's processing.
