Learning post-processing - 4 images from P&S manipulated (PC CS4, LR 2.6)

Hello all,

first pics posted. As I wrote in my intro, I am expecting a new 350D outfit - it is in the mail. in anticipation, I also upgraded my PC to have nice post processing power - and of course had to try it out with some older pictures.

There were taken with an old Olympus back in 2006. Pairs of pictures posted: the result is first, the original second.

Please critique on all aspects - composition, amount / style of manipulation etc. Of course some aspects I could not control anymore - e.g depth of field (or correct me if I _could_ manipulate them)
