Good shots!
If you see me in the lanes, please say "Hello".
Just to clarify one thing concerning the Scottish Regiment (of which I am a member) Please do not get offended if we do not smile for photos during the Grand Parade..it's part of our act to remain serious, eyes front, and disciplined during the parade.
Also a word of caution: PLEASE be careful if you step into the lane to take a shot during parade..many of us carry "battle ready" blades..they are edged and sharp. If we pull our blade in or away, or step around you it's to avoid a potential accident.
This weekend (24-25 April) is Highland Fling..and the 13th Annual Scarborough Highland Games, with more than 100 contestants throwing "stones" and tossing cabers. Come out and join us..and march in parade with us on Saturday and Sunday...we'll have plaids to make you a "Scot for a Day" both days... and come join us at Scottish Court at 330 near the Maypole.

. . . . . but what you see!’
Henry David Thoreau
