Today I created images that reflected a less than happy mood, I guess I was feeling that way, and my photos do communicate what I feel, not only what I see.

Just sharing.

Different direction, Paco. I believe your first shot is the strongest. If I were to make a some suggestions, I would crop off the ceiling light, dodge and burn to increase the tonal range and get some darker shadow. I am always happy to see different ideas from which I can learn. Tri

These are all very nice. I would like to see if you progress with this theme (for stock or self?) Take a few with one chair fallen...
Faster shutter speed would create a darker look too...

Just some thoughts, I am not the teacher I wish to find.

Tri, Daniel, thanks for taking the time to comment. These pictures are just outlets for my thoughts and feelings, no other purpose. But I always enjoy how others perceive what I do and what it says to them, so I really value your suggestions.

I tend to get pretty focused on what I enjoy doing the most, namely portraits. I need to remind myself that there are other ways to use images to express creativity, or just the need to communicate something visually.

I dig these... very drab... up my alley.

Only thing I would say is to not add the text on the markerboard in photoshop. The scale of the handwritten font makes it look like, if someone actually wrote that on that markerboard, would've had a marker about 2 inches thick. I'd actually just use a real marker, write your phrase, then shoot it... it would be much more believable.
