I just learned that my below photo of iridescent clouds over Round Rock has been selected as the Grand Prize winner of Weatherwise Magazine's 2010 photo contest. The 2010 winners have been posted online. This is two years running where Texans have taken the Grand Prize; last year was Mark Mallory from Brenham. It looks like a giant soap bubble on top of the cloud. While the other photos are certainly good, I've never a shot like yours before! Good capture and congratulations. |
