Hmm.. top two favorites.. Well here are two of my favorite wall hangers if you will.. It was great year, was priviledged to have a few fantastic trips this year, not only in locations, but weather while there as well!!!

First one is of a bull elk in Rocky Mountain National Park during rut.

Second one is of a bald eagle watching the sunrise on the Chilkat river near Haines, AK last month.

Here's to everyone having a great 2011!!!

David

Christie, that shot is genius! All these years with a fisheye and I never thought to do something that clever. Nice job!!

Keep 'em coming, the quality this year has gone up a few notches!

I'll throw in two I liked from this year. With various family obligations this year, my time spent behind the camera just for fun and just for me was really diminished.

This first was from our week in Anguilla last Spring. Anguilla does have stunning beaches and water. This was my view every morning, just steps from our villa. It was my screensaver at the office for a long time.

The second is just a lucky grab at the local dog park - not even my dog, but this guy had been playing hard chasing my Border Collie mix and was completely worn out.

We have some talented folks around here. Of course, I've always known that.

Lisa,
It sure sucks when you have to go to places like that.
Adam,
Anyone who saw True Grit knows that the Coen brothers stole your shot. Very nice!
JohnT,
Right on!
More. Fill these pages. Heck, you still have time to make new photos. 2010 isn't over yet.
A moment of silence please. 2 hours ago Kodachrome officially died. RIP.

Cool No rules, right? - 12-29-2010, 02:22 PM

One of my best photographic moments ever.
Boone, NC. September 20, 2010.

Caty Grace, my 12 y.o. granddaughter, at work. Shooting her brother's soccer game. With my 1D MkIII & 70-200/2.8 lens. Total time with camera and lens: less than 5 minutes.

The photo she took of her brother Steele.

Caty Grace turned 13 in October. She wants my 1D and lens.

Ah, I see I better start saving if I'm going to do my grandparent duties and introduce my now 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to the finer points of photography by age 13. lol.

Camera equipment: X dollars
Sharing a passion with a grandchild: Priceless
