Did a project for the local Sheriff's Dept....looking for thoughts...

It wasn't the best light today so I think I'll try again later but you get what you get.

Sweet ride but the sun rays, dust on fender, tree and the way it is positioned on road take away from the image. I would try to position it so it is in the middle of the road with a cleaner background and shoot at a very low angle from the front. Not a head on shot but where you get the front and full side.

I have no idea what you were trying to convey. First thing I thought of was did he spin off the road?
1.car is dirty, if not the reflection does not work for me(over the front wheel) and the tires need to be cleaned
2. does not fit on the road, it hangs over

Yes, I drove up and found him stranded and disoriented right after he had spun out of control.
other points taken...I wish they woulda cleaned the car but you take what is given. I agree, I think I need to find a better location. I'll wait until the conditions are better (more clouds, early or late light, etc.) and try this one again. I knew conditions weren't ideal when I went out out but tried to force it...as usual, I didn't get what I was looking for, oh well..next time.

I don't mind the orientation nor the light. But the post processing strikes me as weird. The blue "flares" are very distracting. And I think you missed a patch of selective color just above the roof in the middle of the tree.

The dirty fender does catch my eye, but I understand about that being out of your control. Sometimes the model shows up with a big ol' zit. :)

Overall, I think it's a nice shot.

One other idea/suggestion...so take it for what its worth

I like the desaturated background to bring focus on the car, but the blue flair lines are a little distracting.

Perhaps also black out the windows with some non-reflective black cloth or paper taped up on the inside. I'm sure you can work it in post as well, but I think it may look better if done at time of capture.

Turn in that front wheel, and bring some tire-shine with you to clean them up on the spot, and one of those water-free dust clothes to wipe off the car and you've got it man.

Might be cool to have the red and blue lights on with a star filter as well.
