I was going through some old negatives hiding away by the besler. turns out, that is a good place to hide negatives.
I thought I would post this shot up to share and for C&C.

Same here. 2-3 weeks of Street Photographer Nirvana.
I like it. You singled out an individual in a crowd. And she's looking into the lens. Well done.

5x7 horizontal. I do it all the time. I also crop rectangular images square. Go figure?

You got it, Wayne, a 5x7 ratio horizontal crop of the image excluding all or most of the sky.

W & W nailed it. I wanted an 8x10, but 5x7 it was. I like this much better.

The Old Geezers Rule!
Love it. The top is within mm's of where I guessed it would be.
5x7 is a very pleasing aspect ratio. A zillion portrait studios back the Stone Age can't be wrong.

i like that you the woman looking directly into the camera here. but i think this would have worked better with a shallower depth of field. it would have brought more attention to her. this would have been a nice opportunity for a close up too since you had her attention.

I would have lost this moment if I would have waited for another comp. also, there isn't much I could have done to change the DOF from my vantage point and still get this moment. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
