I just shot bridals at the Rock Church. You really need to read the history on this church. Apparently a Highland park person was going to get married there....she had a fatal wreck and the parents used the wedding money to renovate the church to it's former glory. Very fitting tribute to a lost loved one.

2 things, the pulpet in the middle was moved to the middle because the original pictures showed it there, it used to be to the Right.

The picture of Jesus is said to open and close it's eye's. Kind of spooky.

Did you get any pictures of the Organ at the Mezzanine?

Thanks for the comments. I did hear the story about the young woman who was killed and her parents donation. The man who told me that is a local man who checks on the church daily to make sure there is no vandalism or other problems. He also said the young woman was buried in the cemetery next to the church. I have photographed the organ form the main floor. Is the rock house your refer to along the same loop road? I have seen a rock house along the loop from the road, but there didn't appear to be any access. I enjoyed your photos.

Yes the house is formally called the Rock House or Norway Mill. It is owned by the family that I shot Bridals for. The house is incredible, loaded with family heirlooms and very classic.

Here is a video of the girl that died.

She was going to get married there and died before her wedding. He parents took the money and restored the church. She is buried behind the church.

I'll have to check it out when I go down for my family reunion later this year @ the Old Norse Church outside of Clifton
