CC if you like or not. But didn't want you not to be able to if you wanted!

I love spring blooms, I intended to give it more of an art look.

I like the effect you have used on this one. But I have a question about it. I see you watermark but I also see some other faint text as well as what looks like small text box, what exxactly is all that suppose to be? I mean is it like the edge of film lab type info ro something like that?

This is something I noticed that has nothing to do with nothing, at the end of the longest branch, just above it there is a mark in the effect that looks like clock hands indicating about 1:20...

Janice,

I like the composition of your photography. The frosted glass edges are really appealing to me. For the most part, the blooms appear to be in focus. And I like your cropping.

There are a couple of things which bother me. The faint text mentioned by Rob. It appears that the photo was taken through a glass and that there may be reflections picked up by the camera. There is one area right below the long branch in which my eyes continue to drift back toward. The other is that I may have tried to get a little more depth to bring into focus one of the back branches since it is one of the three main branches in your photograph.

Thanks for posting and I hope to see more of your work.

David

What you guys are seeing is the texture layer. It is a piece of paper that is a form that was crunched and dunked in the mud and washed off and dried :)

Thanks for the explanation. I like the idea of the texture and the crumpled edge look goes well. But for me in this scene, the text is just a little distracting. I'm sure others may have a different opinion.

Well, I don't know what you did but I say it's time to frame it.

I went back and took layer and removed the bold text. The rest just looks like texture.

Hmm. I wonder how it would look printed on metal? The white would turn silver...just thinking out-loud.

There should be some way to soft proof that effect...

Rob I have no idea how I could do that. But it sure is a good idea.
