Those are wicked! Can't believe you caught a ghost! hahha j/k

But they are very cool. Love the horizon glow. Did you have flashes in the fort on the first one?

Cool effect, maybe try a CTO gel next time just to warm it up and it may blend in a little more.

Yeah, I was wishing I'd brought some. I do have some shot with a red filter over the flash that looks kind of neat.

BTW, the first two photos were shot with the Nikon 14-24 mounted on the 5D2 so the EXIF is kind of jacked up.
But the were both shot at f/2.8.

Great stuff Jake! That place is amazing... We went on the SuperMoon a few months back. Incredible place and the skies were just gorgeous. I've been wanting to go back on moonless night and get some shots.

I really like the 2nd shot.. the milky way is fantastic.

I'm looking forward to shooting with you in a few weeks, we're going to have a blast!

Thanks Jennifer and Todd!

@Todd: Yeah, I remember your post from Ft Griffin of the SuperMoon, those were awesome! I'm also jealous of the upcoming excursion y'all are doing this weekend :(

Can't wait till the Utah trip!

I know right! I'm like a kid waiting to go to Disneyland who keeps looking at the calendar.
I feel bad for the people that will be in the car with me because I'll be like "are we there yet?" "how much longer?" How many miles have we gone?" etc....

Here's a couple more from the night. I'm going to clean up the power-lines on this first one once my new computer comes in.

Probably need to run this through some kind of noise reduction. Shot @iso3200 from the t2i..
