So I dropped the wife off at the airport the other day. I had the camera gear with me because you just never know what kind of nifty airplane shot you'll get right after a storm.

But the light at the airport wasn't what I'd hoped it would be so I went by this park that's right on the bay on the way home and grabbed a few shots. Here's one I like a lot.

It's a sculpture at Seal Point Park.

From the side it looks a bit like an artichoke - it's a series of wind-driven turbines stacked vertically - each level up being smaller in diameter than the one below.

This was taken from below looking up at the sky. I'll post a more general pic when I get the time - I'm buried at work right now and photgraphy has had to take a back seat.

Here's a bit better shot of it from the side. I did even think to photograph they whole thing - It wasn't that interesting unless you got close to it - and then everything changed.
