Critique: NC:

There's been some recent talk about riding bikes going on in the chat room. I thought I would revisit some photos from two years ago of my mountain bike.

It's pretty much the same other than changing the saddle, adding a computer and losing the lock.

Hardrock? Nice bike... it looks way too clean though.

Nice!

I have a full suspension Fezzari "Cascade Peak" I take into Memorial Park at lunch since I work nearby.
Was going to go today but man this heat is a killer out there!

The same Co-Motion Americano I had the last time bikes were discussed. Not a mountain bike as such. Just your basic go anywhere pavement or not touring bike. Photos would be nice, hey?
I still have the Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo II. The Shimano shifters croaked. I need to replace the brake/shifter thingies and ride it.

I have a Hoo Koo II as well, its just a frame right now (and probably always will be) I use to use it as my mud bike when I was racing XC...

If I get motivated, can you point me toward suitable shifters & brake levers?

Soooo jealous!!! I just scored a couple of really old Trek 800 hardtails courtesy of Craigslist for about $80 each. I figured a beater bike would be a nice way to introduce our son to riding before investing a ton on a quality bike right away. Though he'll be piloting in a bike child seat for a while. Took him for his very first ride-a-long at Terry Hershey Park last Friday since the weather rocked. I'm definitely friggin out of shape though. 11 total miles and my legs were burning on a few of those tiny inclines. Didn't account for how much the additional 30 lbs of toddler sitting in a child seat would make a difference....duh!

He seem to like it. We stayed strictly on the paved section.

1st image at 5.5 mile. Decided this would be a good time to turn around.
2nd image back at parking area making it 11 miles
Last two are just some cheese BEFORE/AFTER image of my CL bike...

Now my 'whip' is rocking a rear rack and CoPilot Limo...So HOTTTT!!!
Next mod will be to put some old school bike tape on the handle bar and maybe a bell...ding...ding....

let's get our Pixtus ride going soon!

Paulo - hey! I vaguely remember riding in the back of my dad's bike in one of those kid seats. It's a pretty smooth ride; no wonder your boy fell asleep!

I need to attach a horn or toy or something for him to play with. Must get boring staring at daddy's back the whole time....

Nice bike porn. Good looking bike as well. I used to ride a Specialized Rockhopper until the doc put an IM rod through my tibia for all my trouble.
