Well I'm glad you did. I see you use a 5D MK ii. How do you like it? That's the body I'd like to get next. I have a 5D, but I need another one so I have redundancy in my shooting.

Hey Curtis, I love the 5D2. It's the best body I've ever had. I'd certainly like some of the extras that a new 1DsV might bring, but for now, there is nothing with better image quality (and certainly high ISO performance), in my opinion.

What lenses do you have? I have the 24-105 f4 and 70-200 f/2.8 (both L series with IS). I'd like a 100mm macro and a wide angle/fish-eye someday too.

I'm mostly a prime guy. My carry kit consists of:

16-35
24L
35L
85L
135L

However, I've had both the 24-105 and the 70-200s and they're great lenses. I've never done the macro thing, although I have used extensions tubes to do pseudo macro stuff.

Does your 16-35 lens give a fish-eye effect to your images?

Not really no. It can if you tilt the camera off-axis a good bit. But, as long as you keep the lens face mostly vertical, the distortion isn't very bad, certainly nothing like a fish eye would.

I am eyeing the the new 8/14 fish eye though... 8mm would be insane!
